Registration for the ACWA 10 Conference is now open! Participation is open to all persons interested in children, youth and family welfare services. Click here to download the ACWA 10 Registration Brochure.

The ACWA 10 Conference Fees are quoted in Australian dollars (A) and are inclusive of GST. Online registration is strongly encouraged. Please click on the button below to be taken to our secure website to register.

Student Registration

A student is defined as a holder of a student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or international student card.  Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate.  A copy of your student identification card is required when you submit your registration form.  Without this copy, the full registration fee will be charged.

Important Registration Information 

Credit Card Payment Online: 

Online Registration is preferred. Please click  here to visit our secure website to register and book your accommodation in ‘real time’. Please note all online registrations require immediate payment by credit card. 

Accepted credit cards: MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to  ‘Conference by THPL’. 

Cheque/Money Order Placements: 

All payments by cheque incur a $10 processing fee.

payments will only be accepted up until 30 June 2010. After this date, all registrations and accommodation bookings must be submitted online with credit card details at or by calling +61 2 9265 0700.

Cheques are to be made payable to Associations of Children’s Agencies Conference 2010. Your name and full address should be typed or printed clearly on the back of the cheque. Cheque payments from overseas must be a bank cheque in Australian Dollars drawn on an Australian Bank. No other currency will be accepted.

Faxing/Mailing Registrations: 

Faxed or posted registration forms will only be processed/confirmed if credit card details or cheque payment are accompanied with the form. You may not pay your fees by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). 

Acknowledgements 

Your registration and payment will be acknowledged via email or post with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form. Your registration will not be processed or confirmed if payment does not accompany your form. 
You will not receive any further publications before the conference. Your letter of acknowledgment will include any further advice necessary prior to your arrival at the conference. At the conference you will receive the final program, the book of published papers/conference documentation and a list of delegates. 

Cancellation and Refund Policy 

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Managers. 

Registration Fee’s: 

• Before or on 30th April 2010 will incur an A$100.00 cancellation fee. 
• Before or on 18th June 2010 will receive a 50% refund of fees paid. 
• After 18th June 2010 there will be no refund 

Accommodation: 

• A minimum one night’s deposit must be paid or credit card  details given at time of booking to guarantee reservation 
• Deposit is non-refundable at 30th June 2010 

Social: 

• Payments are non-refundable at 18th June 2010

Entrance to the Conference 

Each member of the conference will receive a name badge on registration. The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions. 

The Conference Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserves the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner. 

Accommodation provided at Oaks Apartments is not subject to application of the GST. A tax invoice will therefore not be issued by Oaks, however, a non tax invoice/receipt will be issued.
